Long time!

I've been absent from here for a really long time! I'm ready to start uploading again. :)

I had so much fun with my decorations! Most of these things are in place year round, but I mixed in some new stuff for fall and Halloween. I know the deer skull may be a little frightening to some, but seriously aren't bones and skulls and antlers all the rage right now? :)
How are you guys decorating this year?

That lovely image is my girl Mazzy on our recent trip to Florida. I am now happy to offer my clients Polaroid road trips.

That's my boy Jack. It is rare that I get big smile like that from him when there is a camera over my face- so this one made my day!

At my daughter's request, I applied these nails for her. I am having serious mixed emotions about my 8 year old wearing these. She swears that all the other girls wear them in school. Is this normal?? My 11 year old chews her nails off, so that isn't an issue. I mean, they look pretty- I guess- but she's 8!!! Any thoughts??

That lovely little three year old is my second cousin. But her mother is more like my sister, so I am known as Aunt Rachel.

I love this image! This is from a wedding I did back in May. The lovely bride is also my sister in law. But we're more like regular sisters if you ask me. The wedding day was so gorgeous- I thought for sure it would rain- but it didn't.
How is everyone's summer going?

A couple of days with 90+ degrees weather, and I think it's safe to say that swimming suit season is upon us. My kids have been running the sprinkler nonstop for 2 days. : ) Everyone else enjoying the warmth?

It seems that for the past 6 weeks or so, my email has been malfunctioning. So, if you have recently sent me an email, then please send it again! Or give me a call! We can get together and have a cup of tea.
I hope everyone is enjoying their day.

I've been away far too long!! The new year has been so busy... seriously, four children can wear a girl out!!
I was lucky enough to have a little getaway, I went to Colorado. This is one of my favorite pics- but wow- I took sooo many!! I have a bunch of polaroids that I would like to share later on. I hope everyone is doing well- and enjoying the first days of spring!

I haven't been on this blog for quite a while!! Here is a photograph of my son on his 2nd birthday.
Such a cutie!
I may be sporadic at best- I'm trying to decide if I should blend this blog with another blog I have.
I'll update on that soon.

Mazzy is my artsy girl. She is 7 years old and so cool. Moody, yes, but super creative and sweet.
This girl was my first baby. She will be 10 years old in 7 days. The time has flown by. You blink and you miss it. She is so sweet, kind, helpful and lovely. I look at those eyes and I still see my little baby girl looking back at me. I can still feel her in my arms as I rocked her to sleep every night, as I sang to her and rubbed her hair. Motherhood is bittersweet and magical.
